This is the homesite of cdamd, the CD Automount Daemon for FreeBSD.

cdamd will mount ISO9660 CDs and DVDs. It will not mount Video only DVDs, VCDs, or Audio CDs (since these don't have mountable filesystems). In reality, cdamd doesn't provide you with any more capabilities than

mount /dev/cd0c /cdrom

does from the command line. It only automates this.
